Who is a Member?
Our membership is diverse from students and founding members to businesses and leading organizations. Our board approves all members. Explore our members list on page four in the most current Annual Report PDF.
How Do I become a Member?
When you make a contribution at the basic membership level or above, for the first time, your name is submitted for membership approval to the board. (You will only be notified if you are not accepted by the board.) Renewal reminders are sent out to those that join Carolinian Canada's on-line community.
How does my Group become a Member?
When you make your group contribution, you will be asked to provide the name of 2 representatives of your organization.
How Long Does My Membership Last?
Your Carolinian Canada membership now lasts for a full year from the date you make your contribution and is eligible for a tax receipt. If you have joined our on-line community, you will get a renewal reminder.
What do I get for my Membership?
Since your membership contribution is tax deductible, you are supporting Carolinian Canada's conservation work to green the future of southwestern Ontario. We encourage you to join to support our programs, such as Ecosystem Recovery, Ecotrails, outreach, roadshow, network events and more. We also offer Carolinian Canada Friend events occassionally. If you have suggestions, let us know.
You will be recognized in our annual report and other outreach materials, unless you choose not to be listed.
What Are My Payment Options?
The easiest way to join is to complete our on-line form, create and account and pay by credit card on-line through PayPal. (You do not need a PayPal account). We also accept cheques by mail or contributions through CanadaHelps or in person, at our events.
When Do I get my tax receipt?
Tax receipts are sent by email, on a monthly basis.
